The table carries maximums because that is what provisioning is for. A cluster rarely sits at its nameplate draw, but the feeders, transformers and cooling plant are sized so it can, and a sum built on typical draw becomes a constraint the first week the schedulers keep every GPU busy.

Why size at maximum power?
Provisioning is done for the worst case. Feeders, breakers and cooling are sized so the site holds when every GPU is busy, and the vendor maximums are the published figure for that case. Typical draw sits below it, and the margin is yours, not the grid operator’s.
Why is GB300 NVL72 missing?
The GB200 range is already cited on this site, on the page the table above links. No GB300 per-rack figure is cited anywhere on this site and no vendor document publishes one, so the platform waits. It joins the list the day a citable figure exists.
What about cooling power?
